Dinu Tamazlacaru started his first dancing steps in his born City
Chisinau at the Moldavian ballet school under the direction of Jurie Gorshkov and Ticher Alexander Iwanov, from 1994 to 2000; He improves his dancer’s formation two more years at the Ballet conservatory of Vienna supervised by Karl Musil. Evelyn Tery And Maxim Abzalov.
As a young professional dancer, he gets his first successes in winning prestigious prices, as the gold medal of Australian ballet and dance contest in 2001, the gold medal of the international competition Arabesk at Perm and the Prix de Lausanne in 2002.
During the same year, Vladimir Malhakov proposes him to join the corps de ballet of the Staatsoper Unter den Linden transformed in 2004 in Staatsballett Berlin that he still belongs to at the present time as Principal dancer.
He develops his qualities of artist threw a rich repertory of famous
classical main roles : Sigfried in Swan Lake (Patrice Bart/Petipa/ Yereomenko), Basil in Don Quichoxe (Petipa/Derevianko/Grigorovich/Messerer), Romeo ( John Cranko/Patrice Bart), Lensky in Onegin (John Cranko) the prince of Nutcracker ( Patrice Bart/Grigorovich/Medvedev,Boulaka ), James or Gurn in La Sylphide (Schaufuss/Bournonville, Solor, Golden Idole, Solo fakir in Bajadere (Vladimir Malakhov), Le Papillon in Glories of romantic ballet (Pierre Lacottes), Marquitanka (Pierre Lacotte), Tchaikovsky Pas de deux, Tarentella, pas de deux (Balnchine), Fancy free (Jerome Robbins), Franz in Coppelia (Roland Petit); as good as more neoclassical or modern pieces: The Vertiginous thrill of exactitude, Herman Schmerman (William Forsythe), Baccus in Carravaggio (Mauro Bigonzetti), And the sky (Marco Goecke), Arlesienne (Roland Petit), Siegfried and Mime in Ring um den Ring (Maurice Béjart), Les bourgeois (Ben van Couwenberg).
In 2012, his amazing ability of interpretation is recognized by one of the most prestigious price of Germany for an artist (all categories included), the Daphné price and wins the “Mr Expressivity” at Dance Open.
His career is not limited to Germany but fully international in
participating at many galas in all the world ( Italy, Japan, France,Finnland, Swiss, Kasakstan, Russia, Romania, China, Mexico, United State…), and gets invited for guesting to the main theaters of ballet world as Teatro Opera di Roma, Teatro communale Firenze Maggio Danza, Tokyo ballet, Mikhailovsky theater Saint Petersbourg, Opera National of Kazan, Ufa, Bucarest, Zagreb, Bratislava… In 2009, he got also to dance in honor of the New Year Concert of Vienna (choreography of Vladimir Malakhov) in live.
